Lenovo is great. Not joking. That battery should be covered under the warranty. Build quality is usually good. If it isn't, then it is almost always backed by the warranty.

Yeah, i got mine cheap w/o warranty though...

It's a driver problem where basically the battery returns the wrong charge level and as a result it gets overcharged and #rekt after leaving it for too long.

I got the driver but it was too late
My model's the kind that needs to be completely dismantled to replace the battery.
Like, heck, you even have to stick a needle in it to pop the keyboard out from the back
