I need/want a laptop - slugdude - 01-31-2015
I'm looking for something to do MOSTLY WORK on with a little minecraft on the side
Needs to be around 2GHz processor, I don't mind whether AMD or Intel, dual core is all I need. Maybe less than 2, 1.8 maybe?
At least 2GB RAM
Relatively light as I will be carrying it around a lot
Cheap (Max £250)
And most importantly, must work FLAWLESSLY with Ubuntu.
Any suggestions?
Edit: 2GHz is quite a lot for a laptop, I could go much lower.

Look into a cheaper lenovo think pad. Their think pad line has great Linux support.

I may seem biased towards lenovo but that is because they are one of the best laptop brands, I own one, my family owns 3, and all the laptops are assembled in house. Meaning from the motherboard mounting to the screen installation, same building.

That hard drive's a little small, plus people online seem to be having trouble getting Ubuntu on it D:

goo.gl/UrS9BD preinstalled with ubuntu, meets the specs and price requirements i think. the only problem is that the seller doesn't ship outside US :/ if you know a way to force ebay to search non native sales to show up, i can be more help.

Try changing the URL to ".co.uk" instead of ".com" or whatever it is by default
