What do you like the most about redstone?: that you can build everything

What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: welp, last year I made an funcional computer (pretty compact but bit rudimentary) with a friend,in 2017 I made an functional TicTacToe, in 2018 I was making an pong (got grieffed). I left redstone for a whole year to start building in singleplayer terrains, houses and organics and because I started highschool and started learning (by myself[youtube tutorials, wikipedia*]) integral/differential calculus. Now I'm making biological things using slimeblocks as carbon molecules, for now I only have an enzyme similar to glucose enzyme 6 phosphate dehydrogenase and few rybosomes prototypes.

What do you plan on making for your build trial?: real-life based VGA pins (even if minecraft displays can't handle color)

Can you expand on what you're wanting to make for the trial? We would like to know more about it before accepting or suggesting something else you can build for the trial instead.

Okay, I really think it's already made but, I want to do an display with an only wire that you could program what x,y coordinates you want using vertical and horizontal timing since minecraft cant handle RED, GREEN, BLUE, GND, etc.
And you may be wondering: why would you use that for?
for making an graphing calculator
The other projects I've in mind are:
Lineal equation Solver or Full cuadratic equation solver (using bhaskara)
Ruffini method "grapher" (for dividing polynomials)
"Boolean" ellipses given the coordinates (I mean, if you have the coordinates; if those coordinates can make an ellipse)
Fully functional hard drive (that you can program and save everything in it, even you could program simple apps using reserved logic gates, *this is my top project I would like to build*)
Some of those projects would take even months to build, so I should do a simple computer like the shown in imgur instead
