Simple; Why wont we just build a good cpu with some decent speed, a good IS (perhaps SRCIS), and a possibility of hooking up I/O to it. Then, instead of peeps always building CPU's, we can build our own I/O to the CPU, write our own programs, etc. This has a couple of advantages;
If you think this is a good idea, please let me know down below!
- Everyone using the same Instruction Set. Makes sure that in the future, it wont matter what kind of CPU i'll build, you'll be able to write programs for it easily.
- Creativity. You can make any sort of I/O! Printers, Scanners, Storage, i would loved to see that coming!
