You should learn about Ft. Collins and it's importance in the history of technology. Like I said, the eight buildings of HP, Intel, and AMD are literally all at the intersection of Harmony and Ziegler, and every year one of them lays off a bunch of engineers and architects, and they just move across the street to another company (usually the rotation is HP, Intel, AMD), so they all know each other, and they all worked together at some point on the same top secret projects when they were all at the same company, ex etera. I've said it before, but maybe not here, HP, Intel, and AMD are the same company, they just haven't realized it yet. Then behind HP (to the north) used to be Sun Microsytems, but they left and that all got purchased by Avant or Alegent or something like that, as did some of the fab buildings HP didn't use anymore. Intel across the street fabs all of HP's top secret shit anyway. Down in Longmot (half hour drive) is IBM, somewhere nearby is Boeing, I think TI has a thing in the are too, but I don't know for sure about that.
With that out of the way, I was at dinner with the Intel guy who is one of my parents' friends, then he skyped the AMD guy, and I wish the HP guy was there because by no means is he low on the totem pole (he does not get fired when layoff season comes around).
