Well, you can't deny it. We see this on ORE in the form of certain members. It's not just a smart-person thing either, as programmers and mathematicians are highly personable whenever I have seen them. However, people working in low-level CPU architecture seem to have this mindset in which everybody not at or above their level is not worth the trouble of helping.
Is there any clear reason for this that I don't see?
