Minecraft name: TheRobbi5
What do you like the most about redstone?:
The Ability to work with binary logic and walk around in an entire computer
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:
I'm just another dude who Built the HACK CPU (How original right
) I have recently read an entire textbook about microprocessor architecture and wanted to try building some of the stuff in minecraft, for instance a cache, SIMD, a pipeline or a renamer. I usually try stuff in logisim first so I will provide a few screenshots from there too.
What does it do?: Well in case you dont know it (which I doubt) the Hack CPU is a basic 16 bit CPU designed for a Harvard Architecure Computer (instruction ROM + Data RAM) with a universal and a data register, a 6 input alu which is able to negate, not, add, sub, and, or, xor etc. It also has a dedicated PC register. To design it I used a full adder design from here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEnAyKipiEg and a DFF from "Minecraftmonkeys" More credit goes to a friend of mine who helped me designing a jump decoder and a multiplexer while I explained binary logic to him.

Do you agree with the rules?: Of Course ^^
Well there you have it, hope you like it and to hear from you soon![Smile Smile](https://forum.openredstone.org/images/smilies/smile.png)
Oh also, if an admin could change my forum name to "TheRobbi5" (with an E), that would be totally wizard..
