What do you like the most about redstone?:
I love logic and redstone! My old restone server had shut down (Redstone Development Foundation) and I have been wanting to join a new server to make CPU's. I love creating more efficient and complex redstone devices and seeing them work. I am currently thinking of going into the electrical engineering business because of all the fun ive had with redstone. I come here today because ive had an idea of how to drastically improve my CPU design and I want to build it!
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?:
The most recent thing that I have built was a radical binary to BCD converter.
What does the thing do?:
It takes in a 32 bit (unsigned number at the moment) with radix between 15 and 16 bit. The total time for the algorithm to execute is 26 tics (2 tics per cell) and 32 tics for fractional binary numbers because they require n cells instead of n-3 cells for double dabble.
