What do you like the most about redstone?: Being able to develop digital devices in a computer game.
What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: I started building a tree adder
What does the thing do?:
It calculates
Gout=G+P*Gin
Pout=P*Pin
in one tick. The critical path doesn't use any redstone devices that add delay to the circuit so a bunch can be strung together and go just as fast.
Image and/or video, from imgur.com or youtube.com:
I built this yesterday on my own server (A 4 bit look ahead adder)
I plan on building a full computer with redstone when I have time.
Do you agree with the rules?: yes
EDIT:
I updated the circuit. It now processes everything in zero ticks, and it's much smaller and neater. The purple blocks indicate where the connections would be.
EDIT2:
An unassembled instant adder. 0 ticks for numbers of any size (that XOR gate on the left turned out bigger than it was in my imagination)
