Hello Everyone!
As I have been saying for almost a month now, and since I had joined the server, I have been trying to create one computer/design/construct to the gods that shows the minecraft community and everyone the true power of redstone engineering.
This is the ORE Official Computer.
The first design will be terrible, I guarantee it. I'm not the best "redstoner" by a long shot. However, if we can get more people to work on this project, we could make something greater than our skills alone could ever do on their own.
The Computer is going to implement as many things that we can do with redstone into it as possible- whether it be CORDIC or that line-drawing algorithm- it will have it all. We will start off simple: add a cpu with an RISC for now, and make sure there are modules for other, more complex operations, later (this is where division , mult, cordic stuff, etc. will be). We plan to implement some elements of a GPU into it as well: programmable shapes on-screen and simple translation funcs and what-not as well in the future.
As for the specifics, it is too early to say how the whole thing will come together.
If you want to be a part of this project, just talk to me on the server. I am usually on between 4PM and 12PM (on and off) daily.
Thanks for reading!
