okay... and the density of 22nm is... uhh... 484nm^2 per tansistor... and 7nm square is 49nm^2 per transistor and that's like 9.9 times more dense... and that's 6 years, and the 22 nm litography was first introduced in 2008... so... it should be available by 2014. ...wait, no, intel first shipped ivy bridge in 2011... so that means 2017 for 7nm lithography on cpu architectures. Seems like we're right on track to me, if not even a little behind.
