I have some simple ideas and sorry ahead of time for my lack or research ahead of time lol, but if there is an ore twitter, fb etc (any social media) you could add a feed to the main page. (just a thought) Also maybe a new color scheme, in my opinion it looks quite boring but obviously don't go over board with it lol.
