RE: Is communism good or evil? - TSO - 11-02-2014 Aft, you are clearly among the people that this thread is focused on. If you read the op, you would understand that this thread well and truly belongs in this section. RE: Is communism good or evil? - AFtExploision - 11-02-2014 How is it focused on meh? ;_________; RE: Is communism good or evil? - AFtExploision - 11-02-2014 (10-30-2014, 10:41 PM)AltruismAndCake Wrote: GISED_Link - lol the song sounds happy and then you read the lyrics ;-; Capitalism and communism are economic systems. Facism and anarchy are political systems. RE: Is communism good or evil? - jxu - 11-03-2014 Look a little closer, this thread is actually titled "Do we like Aft or not". Economic systems and political systems are tied together, each support and need each other to function. It's really a gray area. RE: Is communism good or evil? - AFtExploision - 11-03-2014 Yes, but they be different. Communism does not mean totalitarian capitalism doesn't mean republic RE: Is communism good or evil? - GISED_Link - 11-03-2014 (10-31-2014, 12:21 AM)͝ ͟ ͜ Wrote: Capitalism has gone hand in hand with the greatest rise in standard of living in human history - we are now able to live lives infinitely more comfortable than before. As long as the Chinese working for you, Captialism is the best. But one day... when you'll work for China, capitalism will probably be the worst system ever XD RE: Is communism good or evil? - AFtExploision - 11-03-2014 China is a mix of communism and capitalism (called a Mixed economy). The reason China has become so big at manufacturing is because it became a mixed economy, it would never of gotten so large on just communism. North Korea is the only true communism left RE: Is communism good or evil? - LordDecapo - 11-22-2014 Problem with it now a days is that if we did naturally progress to that point as you are saying, majority of the people in the world would starve to dead. We have so many people in big cities already and the only way to house them and ship food in there is by having multiple companies ship goods into heavily populated areas. And unless u have a truly willing to be fair person in charge then the only way to get that done cheaper is that those companies compete and aren't allowed to monopollize, as monopolies are VERY bad 9 times out of 10.. then u have a quick shift back to capitalism, it will start small and grow.. So could u say it is a cycle? BTW that was just a random example I thought of RE: Is communism good or evil? - jxu - 11-24-2014 The US and European countries function as mixed economies too. It's just that in China, the state plays a bigger role. I'm not sure what LordDecapo is trying to say, but a properly functioning capitalism makes sure to prohibit monopolies by using the government's power. The gov. also plays a role in stabilizing the economy in boom/bust times in Keynesian thought RE: Is communism good or evil? - AFtExploision - 11-24-2014 Mixed economy is best economy |
