Efficient analog bussing - newomaster - 06-20-2013

In bases other than hexadecimal, it is possible to increase the efficiency of analog busses by using the high end of the analog spectrum (so the signal reaches further). I explain how to do this in the video.
The video

I basically made this because I'm not really sure how well known this trick is, and I've found it useful in certain situations (such as sudoku 2.0 and helping tatanpoker with his bussing :3)

Efeeshient*

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Chibill - 06-20-2013

Cool using this in my screen.

Noice indeed! However if you're not worried about space, there is faster analogue bussing.

Shush, guy <3

Using repeaters?

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Jmking80 - 12-02-2013

Lol panic bussing.

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Frontrider - 12-02-2013

I ment to use repeaters because its possible, and i think guy knows what i mean

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Chibill - 12-03-2013

I can make anolog bussing with repeaters but its 15 wide.

xD good one

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Chibill - 12-05-2013

Put it is fast 15 block one in 1tick.

If you rotate it by 90 degrees you can make it 2-4 block wide with the same speed.

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Chibill - 12-09-2013

How I use the fact red stone only travels 15 blocks.

RE: Efficient analog bussing - kanethornwyrd - 03-24-2015

Hey, guess what, you gained a new subscriber !

I watched few videos about analog stuff in MC, it's the first time I understand it ! XD

RE: Efficient analog bussing - LordDecapo - 03-24-2015

Nice! And btw, there is a newer way of analog bussing that I the same speed as traditional bussing

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Magic :^) - 04-01-2015

yes, it looks like this:

| = dust
(top down view)

... yes i'm too lazy to open minecraft

RE: Efficient analog bussing - LordDecapo - 04-02-2015

Lol, there is an even faster way that doesn't need a comparator connecting 2 of those chains that, mag "drew" but I don't really remember it well enough to "draw" it in here

RE: Efficient analog bussing - Legofreak - 04-03-2015

yeah, you can either do a flip to keep it in-line or you can just copy with the last bit of dust in the same spot as the starting point of the next one.

the second one is weird cuz it offsets 2 blocks.

That's pretty cool

This is new? I thought this is how they did it before comperators were added to the game. It's *still* more efficient, when you can fit it in.

RE: Efficient analog bussing - LordDecapo - 04-18-2015

Ya, and the newer way is repeater only, just takes advantage of half slabs to get your wire right.
