I've had a few problems with the current IRC server software (InspIRCd). Namely, it's really hard to write code that is fully compatible with it. I've had problems with it not recognizing that my bot has authenticated itself, because it was sending packets too quickly or something.
To fix this. I'm going to be switching to a more popular one, UnrealIRCd. This change will mostly affect the backend of the server, you will still be able to access it as irc.openredstone.org (or irc.nonemu.ninja, the official hostname) with #openredstone as the official channel.
I'm working on getting the configuration right, so I'm still using the old server software. When the new server is ready, I'll post an update here a few hours before the scheduled downtime.
