I'm myself working on a very compact server-based text messaging system, where the internet carries both data from keyboards, cmds and streaming video of text for playback (scrolling display). This keeps the I/O devices very small, since the distant server handles everything else. I investigate how branched wires would work, since star networks are impractical.

seen your posts here and elsewhere. are your devices on our build server? I'd like to check them out some time
