So I for one, really enjoy it if a modpack doesn't have crap tons of mods so you can make a nuclear reactor in your high tech base with your machines processing your items that you get from your OP quarry and instead
-Inhales-
Focuses on utility; mods focused on the player, like morph, ars magica, that kind of shit.

So, I made a modpack with about 25 mods which focuses on exactly that, and then a bit of automation.
Some mods included are:
Morph,
Chisel,
Project Red,
Optifine! Muhahaha,
Ars Magica, --Actually, I wanted this, but it crashes the game on startup ;-; --
Thaumcraft,
Computercraft,
Extra Utilities,
And many more!

IMPORTANT: Voxelmap //might// crash your client, and I don't have time to look at it right now, so just remove it if it does.

Installation instructions:

1. Download the pack.
2. Run minecraft.exe and download a fresh 1.6.4 client.
3. Run the forge installer.
4. Put all the mods in your mods folder located in %appdata%/.minecraft.
5. Put all the mods from the new mods folder in your mods folder located in %appdata%/.minecraft.
6. Run minecraft.exe and select the 1.6.4 forge instance and run it.
7. U done u skrub

May I suggest we go strait to 1.7?? Toons of mods are up to date.

I wanted to do that yes, but some of the mods I really wanted (Computercraft, Ars Magica) werent updated yet.

Playing this I have also noticed that there's a few more mods I want to add, so I'll do that later today.

Portal Gun
Soul Shards

Also, I didnt mean for this modpack to be for the "official" ore server, but if others like it I suppose we could.
However, this mod is based on automation, and not at the same time! Automating shit is still possible, but very different than how you would do it normally.

Also, I forgot to add a list of all the mods. Doing that now.

EDIT: Omg, how could I get forget Morph? :l

Morph is stupid. Free flight? Yeah, no.

Also there's utility and automation to go with tech with pretty minimal tech.

I didn't "miss" them; I left them out as this kind of modpack gives a whole new feeling to Minecraft. Still like vanilla, but... more.

I can understand that this isn't something you guys would like, but I personally really enjoy it like this.

Well if a modpack is like "vanilla" what's the point in playing it?

Anyway, you miss out on 99% of the use of EnderIO etc w/o tech or magic mods, same with other mods.
