Your new Staff - Admin - 08-20-2014

Well, election season is over and I'd like to congratulate all the candidates on a job well done. You all put up impressive showings and all would have made great staff, but unfortunately we can't give it to everyone.

Instead, we let the people decide. This election was very successful from my point of view, we had a total of 38 votes counted from all sections of ORE culture, representing varied perspectives and points of view, and had nearly no voting mishaps.

I am proud to say no vote was discounted due to unintelligibly this election, the few votes that were not in the right format were quickly followed up with and corrected, so stand reassured, if you voted, it was counted.

In my opinion, this election represents the future of ORE, at a time when old faces are stepping out of the limelight, these candidates will be the guiding light for a new generation of ORE members, inventions, and community.


Now for the moment everyone's already skipped ahead to:

Best luck next time to all those hopefuls who don't get their promotion today, continue being helpful in the highest tradition of ORE and I'm suree you'll get it some day soon.

Those of you who have won should see me (tyler) in teamspeak beginning later tonight for a short introductory session into ORE infrastructure during which you will be promoted in game and on the forums.

I'd like to thank everyone who voted and all the candidates one more time, ORE would not exist without you.

To be honest, if I hung out on the server more I wouldn't be a bad choice. I can honestly take these kinds of positions and responsibilities seriously. That's why I turned down my,nomination, because I'm not active on the server. If there were a forum admin/moderator, I would sign up.
