[Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 05-25-2014 Welcome. We've gone through the 2 week suggestion process, where you guys have been able to suggest changes you want in the mod pack. All the suggestions that have been made over there are put into a list at the bottom of this thread. Over here you will be to vote on all of them. A suggestion will be put into the next update if more than 50% of the voters votes for that mod, so we'll need anyone who gives some sort of virtual fuck, and who is part of the OpenRedstone community, to vote. >4.[/code] As I have mentioned before, some stuff is changing in the voting process. Here is what: Instead of voting against suggestions, we vote for them. The voting time is only 1 week. Here is a list with all the suggestions that have been made. Your job to figure out which one you want to be applied to the next update of the galaxy Code: Add traincraft (Trains) RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Nuuppanaani - 05-25-2014 My vote: Add Project red Add Extracells RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 05-25-2014 Add project red add redstone in motion (Frames and motors from redpower2) Add extra cells (Liquid control for Applied Energystics) Add Microblocks (Microblocks from redpower 2) RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - jxu - 05-26-2014 My suggestions: Advanced Solar Panels by SeNtiMeL 1.6.4.3 Applied Energistics by AlgorithmX2 1.6.4.4 BiblioCraft by Nuchaz 1.6.4.3 Binnie Mods by Binnie 1.6.4.3 BuildCraft by SpaceToad 1.6.4.2 ChargePads by Myrathi* 1.6.4.11 CoFH Core by Team CoFH 1.6.4.2 ComputerCraft by Dan200 1.6.4.4 Damage Indicators by rich1051414* 1.6.4.3 Extra Cells by Leonelf 1.6.4.4 Factorization by Neptunepink 1.6.4.2 Forestry by SirSengir 1.6.4.4 Galacticraft by Micdoodle8* 1.6.4.2 GraviSuite by SeNtiMeL 1.6.4.11 GregTech by GregoriusT 1.6.4 GuiAPI by ShaRose 1.6.4.2 IC2 HUD by Neosatan 1.6.4.4 Immibis Mods by immibis 1.6.4.10 Industrial Craft by Alblaka 1.6.4.3 Iron Chest by cpw 1.6.4.2 Misc Peripherals by RichardG867 1.6.4.7 Mo Creatures by DrZhark* 1.6.4.9 Not Enough Items by chicken_bones 1.6.4.3 Nether Ores by power crystals, 1.6.4.2 obsidiplates by myrathis 1.6.4.3 paintingsplusplus by Unn273wo2* 1.6.4.2 projectbench by _bau5 1.6.4.4 railcraft by CovertJaguar | 1.6.4 reiminimap 1.6.4.3 thaumcraft by Azanor 1.6.4.8 thermalexpansion 1.6.4.3 FlenixCites by Flenix* 1.6.4.1 Ships* 1.6.4.8 openblocks 1.6.4.3 SGCraft 1.6.4.16 CustomStuff2 1.6.4.2 aeperipheral 1.6.4.2 flatsigns* 1.6.4.3 EnderIO 1.6.4.2 crafting 1.6.4.2 cclights 1.6.4.7 Biomes 1.6.4.3 enderstore 1.6.4.8 mariculture 1.6.4.4 traincraft 1.6.4.2 CodeChickenCore by Chicken Bones 1.6.4 RealPain* 1.6.4.2 DecoCraft* 1.6.4.2 MagicTools 1.6.4.1 CraftHearaldry 1.6.4.3 quarryplus by YOGPSTOP 1.6.4.2 jabba 1.6.4.4 OpenComputers* 1.6.4.1 statues 1.6.4.5 forge 1.6.4 Vending 1.6.4.2 Inventory Tweaks by jimeowan 1.6.4 RealPain 1.6.4 paintgui 1.6.4.1 carpenterblocks 1.6.4.1 custombrand 1.6.4.10 Custom Mob Spawner by DrZhark 1.6.4 ThaumicGates 1.6.4 Not Enough Keys* 1.6.4 Buildcraft Additional Pipes 1.6.4 GrowthCraft by Gwafu 1.6.4.3 Tropicraft by Cojo* 1.6.4.1 EnchatingPlusPlus 1.6.4 nuclearcontrol 1.6.4 explorercraft* 1.6.4 extrabuttons* 1.6.4.2 MineTweaker 1.6.4.3 BetterStorage 1.6.4 warpdrive 1.6.4.1 lotsoffood 1.6.4 MineFactoryReloaded 1.6.4.1 HardCoreEnderExpansion* * = optional RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 05-26-2014 Sugestions are over.... read the OP. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 05-26-2014 My vote: Remove equivalent exchange Add nuclear control Disable universal macerator Add REDio (Computercraft network controlled redstone blocks) RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - aerodynamicbrick - 05-27-2014 My vote: Remove equivalent exchange Add nuclear control Disable universal macerator Add REDio (Computercraft network controlled redstone blocks) Add train craft RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 05-27-2014 Looking through the big list of mod suggestions by anonymous person, I've summarised everything that is in the list in the original post: Extra Cells by Leonelf So we'll be using that one as a vote. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 06-02-2014 Well... It seems like the 7 day voting period has passed, and thanks to the fact that it wasn't moved to off-topic, I can't blame Edev for this thread not being as successfully as I hoped... O well. Anyways, Here are the votes: 1 Add traincraft (Trains) 2 Remove equivalent exchange 2 Add nuclear control 2 Disable universal macerator 2 Add project red 1 add redstone in motion (Frames and motors from redpower2) 3 Add extra cells (Liquid control for Applied Energystics) 2 Add REDio (Computercraft network controlled redstone blocks) 1 Add Microblocks (Microblocks from redpower 2) 0 Add Mo's food and crops. (More harvestable food) 0 Replace Applied energetics with logistic pipes Now, since only 5 people have voted, there is a small problem, which I'm going fix the easy way, because only extra cells has enough votes to be implemented. My fix: everything with 2 votes or more gets implemented. So here is what's going to change: Remove equivalent exchange Add nuclear control Disable universal macerator Add project red Add extra cells Add REDio Theoretically, the server could run today, but at the moment of typing this thread, the person who's going to be hosting the server is either asleep, or at school. And last, I'm going to need some help, because last time I tried to implement 'project red' into the modpack, shit wasn't working. So what I need is a download link to a working project red download... or page... or whatever. Do note that, if project red still ain't working, it's still not going to be implemented for obvious reasons. And that was about it. Hope all of you are looking forward to the modpack, and G'bye. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-02-2014 I am almost done with the installer/luncher RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 06-02-2014 After some more googling, it seems like there is no such thing as a 1.5.2 project red (it starts at 1.6.2), so project red won't be implemented into the modpack, meaning that we're going to need to find new ways of doing the redstone stuff (something that I'm kind of looking forward to). RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-02-2014 Minefactory reloaded has redpower like stuff called RedNet that is less CPU intensive then the real redpower stuff. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1629898-151152-powercrystals-mods-the-updates-never-stop/ And it is in the pack if i remember right. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 06-02-2014 IT IS DONE!! I've put in the last changes, and now we have a (hopefully) working modpack. For the people who like manual installation: Download link. For the less lazy people, Chibill is about to finish the installer, and then we will all be happy. Nickster is still hosting the server, but at the moment I'm just waiting for him to come online so that I can send him the files. Unless he likes manual installation, then: download link. :3 RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-02-2014 what version of forge? RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 06-02-2014 Just use the latest of 1.5.2. It doesn't really matter, as long as it's all the same. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-02-2014 okay. The Installer. It even installs Forge NOTICE: it is windows only as i don't know where the mods go on mac or linux. http://www.mediafire.com/download/lf8c5ff8lap5vvr/Installer.exe Also you must run 1.5.2 first before installing as Forge needs this, RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Nickster258 - 06-03-2014 Just launched the Unofficial Official ORE server for this modpack! Join nickster258.us.to Standard 25565 port. If you find any issues specific with hosting, contact me by PM or finding me on any of the ORE servers. Disclaimer: FTB servers are incredibly more taxing on the host server. I will be happy if it runs incredibly smoothly. Server info: Running current modpack with 12GB allocated. 3 GB is allocated for my private server and I want enough room elsewhere if I need it. 16GB RAM, Phenom II X6 1045T w/ 9MB cache. All of the network devices, including server, modem, and switch, are under a PSU which lasts for about 35 minutes without power. Data: ![]() RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Tjakka5 - 06-03-2014 Lets hope my 32 bit system with 2gb of ram can handle this. Will post results soon ![]() EDIT: So I used the installer given above (Please add something to tell how far it is from completing) and then tried to launch it with both magic launcher and the default mc launcher. Both times Mc started up fine, but no mods were loaded. Might it help I have attached a log: http://pastebin.com/1WdhEQNT And some screenshots: http://gyazo.com/247d4cd881a9758a812e3345a8773f77 http://gyazo.com/468847aa722a9a997d00ff779c8c5c1d RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 06-03-2014 I honestly have no experience with either of the magic launcher, so I can't help you with that. With the default launcher, check if you're using the right instance (forge <blahdiblah>), and check if there are mods in the 'mods' folder and in the 'coremods' folder. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-03-2014 your using 1.6.4 you need to manually run 1.5.2 once then run the installer. then select the 1.5.2 forge in the edit profile thing in the luncher. Also your are running MC with 1 gb of ram but that should be okay. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Tjakka5 - 06-03-2014 For some reason the Magic Launcher indeed says that it is running 1.6.4, but as shown by the screenshots I run the 1.5.2 forge instance. I will try to do what Pauly said. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Tjakka5 - 06-05-2014 For anyone who might interested: The pack is completelty playable with only 1gb of ram. Thus also playable on 32bit systems! RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - greatgamer34 - 06-05-2014 i got 8gb on a 6 core cpu... im fine! RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - tokumei - 06-05-2014 Just as a suggestion, there is an amazing mod pack builder/distributor/launcher called ATLauncher... Some of the big mod packs like CrackPack and Yogscast Complete are distributed on there. If I can get the official mod list, I may be able to put it together on there and post a link to it. The website is http://www.atlauncher.com if anyone's interested in looking it up. EDIT: To have your modpack added, the mod list has to be compiled on this spreadsheet. Since I know none of these details, maybe the modpack server staff can help? EDITEDIT: Link to the actual form http://www.atlauncher.com/getapack/ READ BEFORE REPLYING RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-05-2014 That is part of the reason I made the installer.. Because I am not sure we classify for that. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Apuly - 06-06-2014 What chibill said. I honestly have no idea if we have permission to use all of these mods in a modpack, even though I have put it together, so you'll need to do a bit of forum browsing for the answer to the permission question. A list of all the mods can be find within your mods folder :3. RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Dcentrics - 06-10-2014 I am looking forward to this! RE: [Survival] Modpack voting - Chibill - 06-10-2014 DC its up... Check the off topic section. |
