AMD VS Intel - Nickster258 - 04-16-2013

Which is better? Be logical!!!

RE: AMD VS Intel - Cutlassw30 - 04-17-2013

None. They are both great for what they are. No AMD is NOT better just for price and when AMD comes out with games that come with there CPUs intel will be in deep dodo. Intel CPUs are actually have less power than AMD but have a better per clock ratio and use a lot of new tech.

My logic exactly, cutlass.

RE: AMD VS Intel - JeremyG - 04-17-2013

I'd agree with that there is none better than the other. It's just a matter of what you want to do with them.

RE: AMD VS Intel - Nickster258 - 04-17-2013

Same. Intel in some areas and AMD in others.

RE: AMD VS Intel - Xeomorpher - 04-18-2013

It depends on purpose, budget and to the greatest degree, subjection.

So basically, /thread. Tongue

I have noticed something. Depending on the price and the use is the best way to determine what CPU to get.

For sure, especially the use for a system is important. If i would want to have a awesome gaming rig, then i could buy a cheaper (amd) processor and spend more on le gpu.

Yep, I noticed for cheap builds, AMD is really spot-on most of the time. But if one is to spend around $1400+ on a build, they are likely to get an i5 or an i7.
