Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-01-2014 step 1: Wishing people a happy new year. Done step 2: Modpack mod voting Because the end date has been reached for the mod suggestion, we're gonne vote. Yaay. So here is how it's gonna work, and it's will probebly a pretty messy way of doing it, but I don't care. I've filtered out all the mods that are compatable with 1.5.2 smp (so no zeppelin mod. I'm sorry.), and put those in individual catagories. All you need to do is tell us which mods you DON'T want included in the modpack. Just to prevent any mistakes, arrows^^^^. If more than 50% of the voters vote a mod out, then it shall not be included in the final modpack. These are the mods that you can vote for (or against. Just how you want to say it). Quote:storage Two mods will definitly be included, being Not Enough Items and Inventory Tweaks. edit (important): removed additional crafting from the list, added soul shards, because of unstable additional crafting RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Jmking80 - 01-01-2014 I vote against ehm nothing? But I find that we should choose between the diffrent worldgen mods. Natura my not like the others but it should work. RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-02-2014 some things to keep in mind when voting. additional crafting has been removed from the list, and has been replaced with the soul shard mod. Redpower 2 is no longer available in1.5.2, which means that we need to use project red as a replacement, which doesn't have the fancy tubes, just the redstone and world gen stuff. Also, mine factory reloaded has fancy redstone stuff on it, which is also compatible with computercraft, so you can consider not including project red. Gregtech and advanced solars needs Ic2 additional pipes, thermal expansion and logistic pipes need build craft. misc peripherals needs computercraft. project red doesn't belong in the item transport tab, but in the a non existing category. maybe something like "machine controle", but I don't know. RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Chibill - 01-02-2014 project red *may* crash with Additonal crafting it did back in 1.5 but that was bacause of client side stuff runing on the server in project red I will test it but now. I don't think it should be put with the others, because of that. RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Chibill - 01-02-2014 AditionalCrafting is messed up again. just leave it out and put Soul Shards 2 the second version of soul shards up todate with 1.6.4. READ THE GOD DAMN INSTRUCTIONS . The entire reason that you vote against mods, is that there is no need for huge god DAMN lists. and the question marks are there because I'm not 100% sure if there is a 1.5.2 smp version, but I'm also not 100%sure that there isn't. no voting is done by me on the list. If not could you tell me which ones don't so I don't vote in two or more mods that don't work together. Thanks. RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Chibill - 01-02-2014 There is a 1.5.2 natura and there is a soul shards 2 that is 1.5.2 RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-04-2014 (01-02-2014, 12:35 PM)seankingman Wrote: Just a quick question: Do all of these mods work with each other? RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Jmking80 - 01-06-2014 I like to change my vote, I vote against biomes o plenty and tropicraft. RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-06-2014 My personal list: Modular force field Tropicraft Natura (just to fuck with malc) Also, any mods that has been listed in means of voting, will be seen as a vote against a mod! RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - aerodynamicbrick - 01-06-2014 I WANT ALL OF THE MODS TO BE INCLUDED RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-06-2014 I was just suggested to include the IBCM mod. However, since this requist was given to me, we need to do the voting a little different. Being that you just need to respond to this message if you want the mod to be included or not. Based on the votes, I will decide if the IBCM mod will be included or not. Also, the voting period is extended untill 10 januari. Being that you just need to respond to this message if you want the mod to be included or not.No ICBM in this modpack RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-07-2014 suddenly discovered that thermal expension wasn't requested as well. Anyone still wants that included as well? I also had the idea of configurating the modpack in such a way, that players have to combine multiple mods for making surtain items (like only being able to get obsidian dust with a rock crusher). Would make it a bit more difficulty to make certain stuff, which makes the modpack (at least to me) more enjoyable. RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Jmking80 - 01-08-2014 Keep thermal expension RE: Mod voting 5 Modpack - Apuly - 01-08-2014 (01-08-2014, 04:00 PM)Jmking80 Wrote: Keep thermal expension we can't really keep it if it isn't included, but I will take this as a "we shall add the thermal expension" reply. We've got results . In the end, a total of 5 people voted, of which 2 people didn't get the voting system, but since Aero has changed the text in his vote (because I told him to), we can only tell Malc to read the god damn introduction. So here are the results: 1 Applied energistics 1 iron chests 1 buildcraft 1 industrialcraft 2 gregtech 1 minefactory roloaded 1 Advanced solars 2 Modular force field 1 Forestry 1 factorisation 1 thaumcraft 1 tinkerers construct 1 computercraft 1 misc peripherals 1 buildcraft 1 additional pipes 1 project red 1 logistic pipes 1 railcraft 2 biomes o plenty 1 extrabiomesxl 2 Natura 1 Nether ores 3 tropicraft 1 Ars magica 1 more potions 1 Equivalent Exchange 1 Soul Shards 1 omnitools 1 chicken chunks 1 Zans Minimap Now because more than 50% of the voters have voted against tropicraft, we apperently won't be including that, unless Malc responds to this thread saying "INCLUDE GOD DAMN TROPICRAFT", because he's the only person that voted for this mod by mistake, and with that, fucked up the voting. Thanks Malc. But all the other mods have been included as well. Also, because of an extra vote that was going on in the deepest regions of the thread, thermal expension will be included as well. The next step will be to put together the modpack itself, which I will probably be doing. I am thinking of making a beta version first, which everybody can play, to see if there are any problems with the mod pack. Also, in the beta I will be testing a configuration of all the mods, so that you need machinery from multiple mods to create some stuff. just to see how it will turn out. No Idea how long the beta is gonna last. And that's pretty mud shit. C U latur.
