I and the rest of the admin team have noticed someone on our moderator team who had a lot of skill in server management and administration. He had been nominated several times to be promoted, so the admin team took a vote. The result was 5-0 in his favor. Congratulations to Chibill, our newest admin!
EDIT: Some of you may have noticed that we did not hold a public election for the promotion from mod to admin. The staff team has decided that such elections should be restricted to members of the admin team because we believe that the current administrators have the best understanding of the position and its requirements.
This change only affects promotions to administrative positions. Elections that promote members to moderators will still be held publicly using the same methods we have always used.
