What is your In Game Name (IGN):patrickwrites
What in particular interests you most about redstone: Redstone, is all I use in minecraft. The survival playing does not interest me as much. using my basic knowledge of binary and the way computers work, i have build a CPU in minecraft. this was an 8 bit CPU and had 8 bytes of memory. In the future, I am planning on adding tons more functions. I will possibly build one for this server also.
Which prompt have you selected to build:prompt #5
If you selected prompt 5, what is the prompt that you have designed: "Design an ALU showing understanding of binary and logic, if wanted, add other things to make it a CPU."
Please provide an explanation of your device:My device is an 8 bit CPU with the functions, ADD, SUBTRACT, implies A, implies B, NOT A, NOT B,
AND, NAND, OR and NOR. The output is sent into an output register and is sent into the RAM, containing 8 bytes of my design of RAM based on a t-ff i cleverly designed . the binary output is then sent to a display with each 0 able to be turned into a 1, activating its binary digit.
Please provide image or video documentation of your device hosted by either imgur.com or youtube.com:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we4Lu4b42Uo
Do you agree to the rules of our server:yes, i most certainly DO.
