Got quite far into this concept. This clever setup uses three hopper cycles (white, orange & purple) to store, respectively, stackable items, items representing binary data, and non-stackable items, along with a clever hopper layout which compactly incorporates both write, read and delete (delete and sorting of used items) as well as quick exchanging of shulker boxes (old boxes out, new in, copy and repeat) to deliver a steady 2.5 bps bitstream of [(27^2)*number of chest carts] worth of memory?!
