I do think a large amount of platters would be ideal, though as it is secondary storage it doesn't need to be fast. If the downside to having 8k of memory would be 102.4s seek time I personally wouldn't mind. That would probably take about 30 minutes to load a large program. I'm hoping to store some sort of program related to the manhattan project.
