Yeah dico seems pretty fair about this subject. However I must point out how clueless he really is. He's saying we're not the best at compacting, but what he doesn't realize is the functionality we get out of the hardware we do make. Not to mention each block is 1/2 the size of you in minecraft, so it's not like you can fit an ALU on top of a pressure plate.
It's easy to say we can't compact stuff when all you make is a simple clock to make sure a piston activates after another so your almighty piston door works. Yeah a clock is small, but a full CPU takes many components, and NOBODY in the world is better at optimizing and compacting them then us; the logical engineers that are taken for granted because sethbling can use the precious command blocks.
