1-long per block decoder - 2insanepeople - 12-17-2015

Saw a design of something like this on someone's plot. Sorry, but I can't remember the name Sad. I took it into my plot and me and Burgled compacted it quite a bit. The result was a 1224 blockĀ (17*8*9) 4-bit decoder. Here are some screenshots.

Should be important to note that the dual-edge monostables weren't included in the block count, as "that can be done in cpu controlĀ logic".

lol, the plot was mine silly! Hence me being able to be so helpful Tongue

The design is old but various updates to redstone have made it be able to be smaller. An early version is actually one of the first things I built after joining the RDF in ye olden days.

*le facepalm*

sorry for forgetting your name and not crediting you in OP. Honestly, besides the slime blocks there's nothing stopping you from building this design in 1.6 (or whatever the redstone update was)
