btw, its blue and black. the white and gold is just from bad lighting/picture quality.

Yeah, but to be fair, most judge by the picture as is rather than by the surrounding conditions.

The gold/white comes from the inverted colors of viewing the pixels as a different angle than intended. Since it's such a bad pic, it shows up more easily. For example tilt your computer screen back(it's easier to notice the invert) or,look up the checkerboard illusion.

Basically if you printed the pic out everyone would see the intended colors.

Also this whole thing is fucking stupid. Sure the science behind it is cool, but the way people reacted is absolutely autistic.

At first it was gold and white then scrolled down a bit and then went back to it and it was blue and black because according to http://www.wired.com/2015/02/science-one-agrees-color-dress/ the white balance messes up the colors.

i want to click the i don't care and stop showing me this option xD but nobody made it :'(

I see all 4 of the proposed colours every single time someone has shown me (about the 5th time now)

to me it just seems so obvious that it's black and blue with a yellow light shining on it making the blue look pale at points and given the black a "gold-ish" hue to it, further more looking in the image you can clearly see the background is rather yellow and the black and white dress thing to the left has a lot of yellow reflecting of the black...

Please tell me I'm not the only crazy person who can see all the colours and how they resemble the dress and it's environment.
