new /schems! - mort96 - 07-11-2013 Hello there. Over the course of the last few days, I've been working on a replacement for the schematic website redstonewarrior threw together: http://mc.openredstone.org/schems The old website can still be found at http://mc.openredstone.org/schems2. UPDATE: New command: schems! schems load <name>: load schematic <name> schems save <name>: save schematic <name> schems list: list schematics schems pass <password>: set passwor to <password> RE: new /schems! - David - 07-11-2013 I never knew you could import schematics! The username and password is your minecraft username and password? RE: new /schems! - redstonewarrior - 07-11-2013 Click the help icon at the login window- You set your password ingame. RE: new /schems! - EDevil - 07-11-2013 Any "special" commands involving? I saved a test schematic about 2 hours ago, and it still doesn't show up? RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-11-2013 Schematics show up instantly when you save it. You have to save them to a directory with your own name though, so use //schematic save [your IGN(case sensitive)]/[name] to save, and //schematic load [your IGN(case sensitive)]/[name]. Xeo is working on a prettier system for this. RE: new /schems! - Edmur - 07-13-2013 The new page looks pretty, I'll test it soon. Good job :3 RE: new /schems! - mad1231999 - 07-14-2013 It looks horrible RE: new /schems! - newomaster - 07-16-2013 Dat gui :OO fancy :3 RE: new /schems! - Chibill - 07-17-2013 You can't upload schematics with the upload buttion! D: RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-17-2013 You should be able to. What're you doing, and what's it doing wrong? RE: new /schems! - Chibill - 07-17-2013 I click up load to upload a file I downloaded from there and renamed to test and it pops up the select file window I select it then it does nothing. Even after a refresh. RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-17-2013 It does nothing after you cselect the file? That's odd. What OS are you using? What browser are you using? (Preferably including browser version) Do you have javascript or cookies turned off? Does it work in other browsers? RE: new /schems! - Chibill - 07-17-2013 I am on windows 7 internet Explore and yes javascript and cookies are on I will try my chrome. RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-17-2013 what does it do when you click the "ok" button in the file browser dialog that pops up? nothing or does it do anything (reload the page, show an error, anything)? Also, what version of Internet Explorer are you using? RE: new /schems! - Chibill - 07-17-2013 I was using 9 an it did nothing but close the dialog and it works in chrome RE: new /schems! - Xeomorpher - 07-17-2013 The solution: Burn IE, for being a terrible, terrible thing. RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-17-2013 Burning IE may very well be the best thing to do then. (I mean, who even uses that thing anymore? (No offense chi - tho for the sake of ous web developers' sanity, you should switch)). I'll add an alert for people using IE. RE: new /schems! - Chibill - 07-18-2013 I know but I derp my chrome up to where its slower than IE. RE: new /schems! - EDevil - 07-19-2013 RE: new /schems! - rpc0618 - 07-19-2013 So is there a way to access the schematics from the school server? I tried, and I'm not allowed. I talked with a couple people about it 2 days ago (sorry, i forget who), and they said i should be able to, but it doesn't work. (Perms.) RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-19-2013 Try /schems (save/load) (filename) - should maybe work some time in the future if it doesn't already :p RE: new /schems! - Xeomorpher - 07-20-2013 It works when I can be asked to make it work RE: new /schems! - rpc0618 - 07-22-2013 OK Xeo, can you let me perform a "/dbp set [password]" as described on the mc.openredstone.org/schems web portal? RE: new /schems! - Guy1234567890 - 07-22-2013 I'm fairly certain that this feature is limited to members of the build server (but I might be wrong). If it is the case that it is limited I would be happy to load any schematics you needed myself. You can just send me a link to the file (hosted by mediafire or something) and I'll paste it where you need it. Mainly I just wanted to save my 1-tick XOR (the 5x6x3 one) cause i felt proud of it... even though i've effectively reinvented the wheel. lol. I'll just wait till my redstonerskillz improve to madhatterhatchetman lvl, and apply for build server stats later. I don't wanna be a PITA everytime i wanna save or load something i can free-build in a few minutes. Thanks! - RPC RE: new /schems! - Guy1234567890 - 07-23-2013 Nah dont worry about it. I'll just save a schematic of your entire plot (you might have to remind me). RE: new /schems! - mort96 - 07-24-2013 BUMPing because of update to the OP. Quote:New command: schems! RE: new /schems! - EDevil - 07-27-2013 Hoeraaay! Btw, fancy looking web layout Mort RE: new /schems! - redstonewarrior - 07-27-2013 This is most excellent :3, however, every time someone posts here I immediately jump to read it. I'm getting a neuralogical disorder just dealing with the forums. XD Pro tip: it's as easy as one two OHGODTHESNAKES |
