The ORE resource pack! - greatgamer34 - 10-16-2014 Hello guys and gals, I have modified FVDiscos texture pack so that it is more Redstone oriented! Album here Just some redstone devices to show powered and non powered states. Theres more to it than just this, but i dont want to link all of the pictures when you can just click on the album! Download! ENJOY- And happy redstoning! RE: The ORE resource pack! - Tjakka5 - 10-17-2014 Neems nice, but I'll stick with faithful 64x and shaders :p RE: The ORE resource pack! - greatgamer34 - 10-17-2014 RE: The ORE resource pack! - PabloDons - 10-18-2014 it's pretty cool, but here's my suggestion: - some of those textures are pretty much ripoffs of the OCD pack, please avoid that. - the creeper faces on everything is really unappealing what I liked: - dayum son, dis some fancy ass repeaters and pistons - I still kinda like the OCD pack. The style is really nice RE: The ORE resource pack! - embizone - 10-18-2014 This looks like poo. Almost went cross-eyed from staring at those repeaters/comparators too long. RE: The ORE resource pack! - greatgamer34 - 10-18-2014 i love the positive feed back embi <3 RE: The ORE resource pack! - Chibill - 10-18-2014 (10-18-2014, 02:50 PM)PabloDons Wrote: it's pretty cool, but here's my suggestion: It uses OCD as a base i think. RE: The ORE resource pack! - Jallen - 10-19-2014 It's an essentially pointless knockoff of OCD, I know you used it as a base but there is really no need to change anything about it. It already has very clear on/off distinctions and, from what I see, you're edit doesn't change anything other than the design which was already very refined in the base pack. Also I agree with embi on the repeaters and comapritors not needing to be outlined. It's not like I'm confused as to where they start and end and makes too much of an impact on the eyes to be useful. Perhaps you could tone down the borders on the components a bit but I still wouldn't use it. RE: The ORE resource pack! - GISED_Link - 10-21-2014 Check out this vidéo ! RE: The ORE resource pack! - Apuly - 10-22-2014 I seem to be having a small problem with the repeaters, because it's not very easy to see which way it is pointing (at least for me) RE: The ORE resource pack! - GISED_Link - 10-22-2014 My opinion about the pack : It is really difficult to work with it ... for thoses reasons :
But the "style" is really good. In fact... All the no redstone stuff is really good... And the redstone stuff is bad XD. Except the piston, i like it ! Can you fix it ? RE: The ORE resource pack! - newomaster - 10-27-2014 What I would like is a mod (I don't think you can do this with just textures) that displays a small number below each piece of redstone indicating its signal strength. It would be very helpful. RE: The ORE resource pack! - Chibill - 10-27-2014 It can be done in 1.8 RE: The ORE resource pack! - Wyrdist - 11-26-2014 (10-27-2014, 02:48 AM)newomaster Wrote: What I would like is a mod (I don't think you can do this with just textures) that displays a small number below each piece of redstone indicating its signal strength.
