BTW if you're referring to his comment about needing a good CPU for good FPS in minecraft, that's very true. Minecraft is coded badly.
Of course though, it's not ALL CPU.

OpenGL does most of it code on the CPU the GPU does a small amount of work.

no i wasnt. minecraft is single threaded so.. higher clock usually means more fps.

it's got multi threading in 1.8 now, you can toggle it in the settings

Actually MC has been multi thread from 1.3 now they made an option to thread rendering.
