I lack proper recording equipment to make a decent video, but I play the piano decently as well. Maybe if I got the right cable I could record directly from my digital piano...

Is that a wild GG? I play alto sax for my school Jazz band (high school). 2nd chair so not bad.

I could record shit but my basement is so small anything i play quietly is soooo fucking loud. Gah.

I was in a band for about 7 months. Split up due to two members moving away to college.

its a usb, and you should be able to record midi!

I play guitar as well. never have I learned a full song, but I enjoy playing short fingerstyle parts of popular songs (I know the intro and a small part of the first verse of Let it go xD...and some other songs)

That's how I was for a while. Now I can strum chords pretty well but I don't do finger parts very well except for the intro to sweet child o' mine.

I've finally gotten around to recording myself playing the piano. I was at a music hardware store and I decided to pick up a cable so I could record. So yea. This is me playing an old-timey rag song: Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin on the piano. Sorry for the vertical video... I recorded this with an Iphone.

My playthrough isn't perfect, there are a few mistakes, but meh.

Music recording setup (for those who are interested):
Piano: Roland RD-700GX
Synth/Preamp (you can see it on my desk, it's the bright lights): Novation Ultranova
DAW: Reaper

No I don't normally record music, I just had this stuff laying around Tongue

I play the piano, the recorder and the guitar. I'm learning piano and recorder in music school by the way, the guitar is just for if I need to lead on the chords of a song. I have been playing the piano for 5, the recorder for 6 years. I'm still learning them, and there is a probability of me being a pianist in the future. ;-) I only play classical music on piano though, firstly because that's what they teach in music schools, and secondly because pop is shit ._. I don't play jazz on the piano, but i like it still Big Grin

Huh. Am I the only one here that plays violin?
I play violin decently, although I'm not too fond of the Suzuki method. I'm still glad that I learned to read music before my program switched to the suzuki method. But I digress.
I do not have a video up, but I suppose that I could record something in the near future.

Any suggestions? I play anything in Suzuki books 1 and 2, and the first part of 3. I also play some orchestra music. Mostly classical.
