Algodoo - Apuly - 07-24-2014

Some might know it, most won't. Algodoo is a 2d interactive physics sandbox blahdiblah.

Anyways, after a shit ton of time playing around with it, then stopping with playing around with it because I discovered minecraft, after which I decided to play around with it a bit more, I have made a basic binary adder using the magic of Algodoo. It uses RCA, because of it's simplicity.

I'll add the save file as an attachment, for anyone who wants to play around with it. You need to push the magical white-ish buttons to input stuff. The output it given in magical red boxes.

Edit: apparently the forums don't like .phz files, so I've got a dropbox link for you.

Algodoo Big Grin
such fun, did you know there is a sound mod for algodoo that still works? you can use script menu triggers to make sounds and stuffs.

That is one majestic adder... how long did it take to build??

Interesting story, I built an adder too in a physics game. I'll leave my username and the game private for now

RE: Algodoo - Apuly - 07-25-2014

Yes, I did know that there was a sound mod. Just haven't installed it... because reason.

And this thing probably took me a day or 2 (I think), most of which was spend on making the logic gates. After that was done it was pretty easy to finish it.

Of course you don't. You peace of shit.

lol such comments. nice adder, pauly :3

I remember using Algodoo when Algodoo was not free yet and the free version was Phun 2D Physics. I was addicted to it. I used to build all sorts of things.

Actually, now that I think about it I built an adder in 2 physics games! One was powder game.
The creator ha55ii had put in several updates which included metal wire, electricity (thunder) and mercury. Combining these with Fuse or C4 allowed people to make one-time use calculators, in fact even 6 digit decimal adders.

RE: Algodoo - tokumei - 08-03-2014

yeah, powdertoy is a good one. it's also fun for things like GOL (which it has built-in)
