Just a little heads-up of why most servers are down:
User @lelddos has struck mojang servers with a ddos attack. He has done so supposedly to raise awareness for the new EULA Mojang is wanting to push out. This primarily makes pay-to-win servers illegal.
Just thought you wanted to know.

I see that's why it took 5 tries to get my ALT launcher to log in. Also have you talked to Pauly about the Modded server?
Also I don't care about pay to win servers. As long as it can't effect servers that use donations to stay running.

Also, donations/pay-to-play servers are still perfectly legal in the new EULA
(EULA = End User License Agreement btw)

Where can we find the new EULA? Also, I don't see why anyone is mad at this. It's how 99% of games work. They're just being entitled brats. I don't see Valve being DDoS'd because of its server policies, or Diablo 3 because the devs get a piece of the $ from the marketplace.

I do not like pay to win servers. However, I do not agree with the actions @lelddos has taken against this as it punishes the good servers. ORE is one of the best and therefore does not accept any donations.

Verrrryyyy little, when you do it right. Enough to fit into the normal variance on a person's electrical bill.
Seeing as at least half of ORE comprises 12 year olds, donations don't seem appropriate. We've got plenty of volunteered resources at our disposal to keep ORE running. :3
