For those who need a challenge of want inspiration - fibonatic - 05-25-2013
I am currently to busy with school, so I hardly have time to build things. But I did have some idea's for projects, which as far as I know haven't been done in (vanilla) Minecraft with redstone. So I thought that I would share it here so other might find some inspiration or challenge from it:
- Sokoban (warehouse keeper)
- Backgammon
- Enigma machine (working on this myself, but would love to see implementations of others)
- Poker Texas Hold'em (I have a method of random card dealing, but win detection is hard)
Feel free to post suggestions here yourself. Or if you are going to start working on one of these projects.

All good ideas! I'm currently working on 2 projects at the moment so once I finish them I might try one of these! Perhaps texas hold em? hmmmm

You can write pi as an infinite series. All you need is a divider, an adder, some program memory, and a register or two!

guy you should make it where you throw different items on pressure plates for calls and stuff.itd be a quick way around the system counting what you have

Back before the Redstone Update, I built a fully functional 5 card-draw Poker WITH winning detection. I took a long break and am now getting back into it.
Unfortunately, the Redstone Update broke it.
It was slow and slightly unstable anyway. I'm possibly going to rebuild Poker to be even better than before. Texas hold 'em has a similar winning detection to 5 card draw. It wouldn't be too difficult to adjust the game play, I don't think. Though I could be wrong.
As for your other ideas... I don't really know what they are, so I can't have a say in those. Haha.
