Logging into sc.openredstone.org (confused) - playerpiano56 - 12-28-2013 Hi, I have had my school application approved but am not able to log into sc.openredstone.org. A summary of my experience is below: 1. When I hover the mouse over schems.openredstone.org I can see that it is a live link. If I click it it goes to schems.openredstone.org 2. When I hover over sc.openredstone.org, mc.openredstone.org, ss.openredstone.org, ts.openredstone.org and ftb.openredstone.org ---> no indication of live link 3. If I type in sc.openredstone.org into chrome or IE explorer address bar I get "Google Chrome could not find" or "404" There must be something I am doing wrong . . . but what is it? Please advise when you have an opportunity. RE: Logging into sc.openredstone.org (confused) - Chibill - 12-28-2013 You login to it with minecraft that's the IP address RE: Logging into sc.openredstone.org (confused) - playerpiano56 - 12-28-2013 (12-28-2013, 07:41 PM)Chibill Wrote: You login to it with minecraft that's the IP address I tried (or at least think I did) that last night. 1. Logged into minecraft.net 2. clicked the server tab 3. I saw a search page and tried searching on openredstone, sc.openredstone, etc and did not find anything. 4. I also did not see anything else at minecraft.net that was obvious (to me) as a place to log into another server. A little background - I don't really play Minecraft. I have been through the first four tutorials on https://minecraft.net/game/howtoplay There may be something very basic t Minecraft operation that I am not aware of that is needed before I am on the same page. Thanks much, Ed RE: Logging into sc.openredstone.org (confused) - Chibill - 12-28-2013 Open minecraft.exe login then goto multiplayer and say add server and the IP would be sc.openredstone.org And you need a premium minecraft account to login to the minecraft luncher from minecraft.net download page then the steps I said. RE: Logging into sc.openredstone.org (confused) - playerpiano56 - 12-28-2013 Thanks! Was able to log in. |
