Lonnon's Builder Status - repeerc709 - 12-07-2019 It seems myself and a lot of people don't believe LonnonjamesD deserves his builder status. We all have various reasons, including:
RE: Lonnon's Builder Status - jackson535 - 12-07-2019 Although I'm good friends with Repsi, anyone who has seen what lonnon did on a firsthand basis would agree that something needs to be done. when I was in vc with lonnon, he sounded suspicious after repsi and I were messing with //generate, and after the server starts lagging severely, I find lonnon underground spam placing tnt minecarts. he refused to stop, and when staff came by, he pushed them out and they all went off. He knew what he was doing, and clearly finds it amusing to lag the server even when told to stop. giving lonnon builder when he didn't really earn it in the first place is just rewarding someone for their mistakes with power they shouldn't have. RE: Lonnon's Builder Status - hahayes_ - 12-07-2019 I agree with some of this stuff. like its just kinda funny that he did 4 trials and only did one correctly (one time he asked what a bud is lol) RE: Lonnon's Builder Status - klebdotio - 12-07-2019 Now, I know that often new builders do not understand how to do certain things that their privileges allow, but I don't think that he has a good enough knowledge on how to responsibly use what is given to him. I am not saying that we all have not had out moments with world edit (Myself definitly included) But could students/new builders please learn how to use it properly before they trial? Its not even that hard to install. Voted Yes RE: Lonnon's Builder Status - PabloDons - 12-07-2019 I understand you guys' frustration. It is staff's fault for allowing a retrial less than the minimum required waiting time. Also if you do a trial enough times, you'll end up actually learning some stuff. Though this is a flawed way to learn because you're only learning how to do a trial, which is only useful once. However I removed the poll because this is essentially bullying. Such a decision as removing someone's rank will never happen just because a lot of people want us to. A punishment, especially as severe as this, should be handled because there's merit. You should have kept it at your explanation, though at that point it is an incident report. So this is even in the wrong subforum. I'll move it later though. |
