Shift+Placing blocks reverse blocks - H2o_h3 - 08-12-2019
Shift+Placing blocks will reverse their direction relative to the player when placed.
This functionality would be able to support the following...
- Both types of pistons
- Comparators
- Repeaters
- Torches
- Observers
- Droppers
- Dispensers

shift+placing already has a function though. It allows placing things on blocks that have an inventory without opening it's inventory. How would you resolve this conflict? I can imagine trying to place things on a chest and it reversing would be quite bothersome

It just won't reverse it when it already has shift+placing function, like placing hopper on hopper, it won't reverse it.

Yea not sure about that, I often use shift-click to place something on a comparator or a repeater
