Sudden crap computer peformance? - David - 11-14-2013
On minecraft highest settings I used to have around 60 to 80 fps. Now suddenly at very low settings 10 fps D:
Task manager gave me this:
CPU (Pentium Dual-Core CPUE5300 @ 2.60 GHz) usage: 100%
RAM (DDR 2) usage: 2 out of 4 GB
Running windows 8
I've checked my tasks, nothing is there that is other from normal.
Does anybody know what could cause this?
EDIT: Forgot to mention this only happens every now and then, other times it works like a charm.

Your problem is you have the wrong Windows version. Try not getting 8 next time.

It may be that your launcher is still open. In their infinite wisdom, Mojang managed to make the launcher draw quite a bit of power, making the game lagg. They also managed to make the launcher fail to close occasionally.

According to my cousin windows 8 is very good. I love it, the only thing that I can see that totally fucking sucks is the updating, god it's annoying.

Just so you know, I'm just joking around (as I do a lot), you can have whatever windows version you desire.
