Yes, here's another one.
LinkORENet will connect 8 bit computers with the same architecture (Operation Codes, memory, etc) and allow one computer to link and interact with the next. A lot like the GameBoy Link Cable. 5 bit addresses are planned, and should be able to connect 8 bit computers with routers.

What sort of things do the 5 bits hold? IP address, Mac address, etc.

IP address. This is just an idea, and will GREATLY change during it's lifespan
