The teacher rank might devalue member rank to act as a teacher. Give all members teacher perms. If you can be trusted on build on all plots, why not school?

Teacher is less of "You are approved to build anywhere" than it is "You are certified by the Staff team to be a good educational resource".

I'm inclined to say yes because teacher trials are really long, but I say no because of Nick's point. The rank tells others that you know your stuff well enough to teach someone up to becoming a builder.
