Einsteinium v2 - tokumei - 10-08-2013 Einsteinium v2 Introduction The Einsteinium (ESM) series is the name I have taken for the redstone computers I have built (and will build in the future). Version 1 was an 8-bit offshoot of Benny's Ye Olde Clunker that I built in single player. Version 2 is a brand-new idea that I came up with a while ago. It mirrors the concept of modern-day computers more closely than any other redstone computer ever built. This idea involves a system where the CPU is in control, but uses a network (the motherboard) to communicate with memory, hard disks, and add-ins (PCI). Due to the immense projected size of the project, I will be building the ESM v2 on my own server, which is still not up yet. It will be viewable to the public, although an application process will be required in order to use the computer, to prevent button spam etc... I will post more details about it once my server is up and running. This project is one of the most in-depth that I have ever attempted, so if you feel that I am doing something wrong, please let me know! Progress Updates
