Nickster said to me that he challenges me to get a 1.10 server with protocolsupport properly supporting a 1.8 client.

Looks like it works to me. Note the 1.8 in the F3 menu and the 1.10 in the chat from the /version command. Just needs openjdk-8-jre instead of 7.
Mind you, this *is* without any other plugins. Signs is the only one I'm aware of that breaks for 1.8 clients (but not 1.10) but it's not a big deal.

Okay the update is complete But FAWE was not working properly so it was disabled and we will look into getting it work.
