Ey!

We've been working on a new website for ORE lately. Now, at last, it's ready!

Check it out at http://openredstone.org Big Grin

Here's what's new:

Prettier:
At least I think it's prettier. Wordpress can be a bit sexier than mediawiki. Also, Shrogg did a wonderful job on that header image.

Guides!
When people ask how to become members, no more will we have to explain - there are guides for that. Or if anyone wonders about ORE commands. Or if someone doesn't know how to WE. Or if someone want to up/download schematics. Basically, throw guides at people.

Chat!
Incorporated an IRC client into the website. It lets you chat with people on any of the servers. Check it out!
Woooo!

Expect a forum makeover soon, And possibly a few more awesome things on the side Big Grin
How about a clean out of the Off topic section.
SWAG site. Can i help out, i have been doing some HTML, CSS and JS and would love to help.
Looks great guys, and im looking forward to that Forum makeover Smile
Looks awesome!
Anyway, I'd love to see what you guys can come up with on the forums Smile
The modern design of le new homepage is great, nice job.
Wow that's looking good Big Grin

How does one get their project featured on the page may I ask?
Stop advertising your websites here.
There is one thing I just noticed, if I click on the banner (on the forums that is) It takes me to the site, which I find annoying.
You're right, that turned out to be a bit annoying. Think it would be less annoying if the banner on the homepage and the forums were the same? Would maybe be a bit more coherent?
Well, I meant I'd like to stay on the forums when I click the banner. Which is currently the case, so I think someone who is helping with building the website found that bug Smile.
Also mobile Devices do not like the new website it blows it up big but the forum is okay.
Help?
The website should be fine on any mobile device.
It looks like it gets zoomed in. I will even post screen shots.

Xeo I give you pics of the facts this is just going to the site not doing anything.
Have you considered zooming out?

also, when compressed, WP will form a dropdown menu.
I can't zoom out that's at full out.
Both the front page and forums are open source web systems, and both usually deal with small devices well. Apparently not. I'm not sure we can do much short of a looott of php/js work.
I'd look into it, but I don't have a smartphone for the moment.

I'll see if I can borrow a smartphone to test with.
Just go to a local store that leaves their phones unlocked. There has to be at least 1.
That's was on iPod it is a little better on android.
