I found this in a second hand shop and the guy had no idea what it was so i got it relatively cheap (€30)

it's an analog oscilliscope called the D31 serviscope. http://www.thevalvepage.com/testeq/telequip/d31/d31.htm

i opened it up and cleaned it... s-so pretty ;-;

I didn't take pictures of that 'cause i was outside clearing dust and bugs out.

The thing heats up quite a bit too, nothing worrying though. It has a nice smell.
The tubes inside it all light up so when you turn off the lights it looks fantastic with that glow shining through the ventilation grille.

there was damage to the controls for the first input, so i can't control it. I fixed the AC/DC switch the best i could, but it looks like i need to work more on some other parts of it. Right now i'm just unfocusing that input so it doesn't show up on the scope.

I put my finger in one of the terminals :^)
it's sensitive enough to pick up my heart rate, which means it's good i guess?

also, right now the scope's display is restricted to mostly the left hand side. I noticed some calibration potentiometers inside the case and on the underside. I'll probably have to mess with those to be able to use the full area of the screen.

So cool! I wish I have an oscilloscope!
very snazzy
My dad brought home an o-scope years ago. I think his work was clearing out old labs. I suppose I wasn't educated enough at the time to know what it was or how to use it... I just liked playing with all the knobs and buttons!
Its so gorgeous...............0.0
