As many of you know, I often boast about how long nickstar has stayed online with no issues. Needless to say, I got slightly upset when I saw that the machine was unresponsive.
After looking into it, and other major confusion, I found out that a major fiber line was cut in my town, not only causing a local ISP outage, but taking with it many other cable and telephone towers with it.
My server is back online but not without being reassigned a new IP by my ISP (First time in 3 years by the way). Due to the IP change, I have had to re-route the DNS for the new IP.
