New here. Fear I am posting in contravention of the rules but here it goes. I am looking for a “Tutor” (happy to pay for a few hours a week) to help my 8yo son transition from Bedrock edition on Console to Java on PC. He is very interested in building more Redstone contraptions and being able to use command blocks and hope will learned Java and programming fare fundamentals while at it. 

Is there a more appropriate section for this post? If so, apologies and please direct me!]]>

I come from a small town in the country. I am very excited about redstone and building.
Personally, I think I was better at redstone when I started, but then I switched and became
more builder-like. But now I know both. It is really amazing to build giant structures that are
absolutely wonderful. Now I kinda stopped playing Minecraft, due to it being a little boring,
and I have other things to do, like school. I am writing this thread instead of doing school

I've always had the interest to know better the mechanics of redstone but my type of learning with these complex things is more on a "make as you learn" type (mainly because I'm one anxious bloko) and I can't really stand having to sit through those long youtube videos where most of the time the guy's more worried about flexing his skills than to actually making the learning part interesting.

But anyways, I'm very trusty with the prospects of having the opportunity to learn from the community and to eventually become a teacher myself.]]>

I have a list of "Ultimate Goals" which are my goals within the realm of redstone projects that are super ambitious.
This includes things like an 8 digit hex CPU and something comparable to Minecraft in Minecraft.
I know what you'd need to build a CPU but I am yet to finish one.
I know how to build RCA, CLA and CLE (I don't care much about the differences), CCA, and PPA (Haven't built one but I understand a lot of the concepts involved).
If you see me online and think I can help with something, if I'm not busy or feeling like shit I'm usually down to help teach.
