What do you like the most about redstone?: How we can create real world electrical systems (shift registers, adders, ALU’s, CPU’s, etc.) from redstone. It adds a new level of understanding to these devices to build them yourself and understand the inner workings of them on a fundamental level.

What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: 8 bit binary -> BCD converter (arbitrarily extendable)

What does the thing do?: Converts 8 bit binary to 3 decimal digit BCD. Arbitrarily extendable at cost of 6 ticks/bit. Quite slow, but quite compact compared to tick efficient designs.

What do you like the most about redstone?: the fact that a very limited assortment of parts can be turned into the most unbelievable designs

What's a thing you have made which demonstrates redstone knowledge?: an 4-bit ALU with 2 registers (but I didn't have the time to finish wiring the I/O, it works only by manually controlling it with levers)

What does the thing do?: add, subtract, logic, store two 4-bit numbers, use the values from the registers as variables in equations

What does it do?: The spawner item filter collects emeralds from a vindicator spawner with a hopper minecart, which then distributes the emeralds into 12 hopper lines, which then go into 4 sides of an automatically selling chest. This method was 12x faster than using one hopper line.
The ALU has an AND gate option, an OR gate option, Flood Carry, and can add and subtract.
