BlockandCube's Application for Build - BlockandCube - 08-17-2013 What is your In Game Name (IGN): BlockandCube What in particular interests you most about redstone: The way that using such a simple concept, you can build complex devices that are relatable to those in the non-Minecraft world, like computers and routers, and use real-life skills to build them, like programming and networking, two things which I enjoy. Which prompt have you selected to build: I guess it would be 1, but whatever a CPU fits under. If you selected prompt 5, what is the prompt that you have designed: N/A Please provide an explanation of your device: This device is a moderate CPU, with 8 of my own design dual-read general purpose registers, and an instacarry-based ALU, with functions such as add, sub a-b, sub b-a, most of the logic functions, though the rest are easily made, lshift (I know) and rshift, as well as most of the comparisons. The 32 byte RAM is not yet hooked up to it, as you can see it sitting aside, but it is easily attached if you want me too.
