IRC Server Migration - tokumei - 07-06-2015
On Tuesday, July 7, a change will be made to the IRC integration that links the server chat. We will no longer use irc.freenode.net as our provider; we will be switching to a self-hosted server at irc.openredstone.org. Everything will function the same as on the old provider; the only difference will be the hostname you use to connect to IRC. Any previous nickname that may have been registered on Freenode must be re-registered on the new server.
We understand that there have been many changes to the IRC system recently. This should be the last one that will affect the connection of clients not provided by ORE. Thanks for your cooperation

Will there be an anti-bot policy? Except for the once that are already in place.

the bot policies are the same as they have always been as described in this thread.

Those bot policies are effective on the new IRC server, even on non-ORE channels.

All ORE services have been moved to irc.openredstone.org#openredstone. Any bots that integrate with ORE services must be updated to connect to the new server.
